Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of Tempora, a service developed and operated by ByteTech OÜ ("ByteTech", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using Tempora, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and the organization you represent ("Agency").

1. The service

Tempora provides employee shift scheduling, QR-based check-in/check-out, certification and compliance tracking, and related tools for staffing and workforce-management agencies.

2. Accounts

Whoever creates an Agency's account is responsible for its security and for the actions of any user they invite under it (owners, admins, and employees). You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials confidential.

3. Subscriptions and billing

• New Agencies choose a plan and add a payment method to start a 14-day free trial; you will not be charged until the trial ends.
• Each plan has its own employee limit, described on our pricing/billing page.
• Once the trial ends, paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis through Stripe and renew automatically until canceled.
• You can cancel or change your plan at any time from your billing settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period (or trial, if you cancel before it ends).
• If a subscription lapses (a payment fails or a plan is canceled), your Agency's existing data remains visible, but creating or editing records is disabled until the subscription is renewed.
• Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Tempora for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable employment or labor law.
• Attempt to access another Agency's data or bypass the service's security or access controls.
• Reverse-engineer, resell, or white-label the service without our written permission.
• Upload data you do not have the right to store or process (e.g. employee data without a lawful basis to do so).

5. Your data

You (your Agency) retain ownership of all data you enter into Tempora, including employee, shift, and certification records. We process it only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having the appropriate legal basis to enter your employees' personal data into the system.

6. Availability

We aim to keep Tempora available and reliable, but the service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ByteTech OÜ will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Tempora, including scheduling errors, missed shifts, or lapsed certifications that were the Agency's responsibility to review and act on.

8. Termination

You may stop using Tempora and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or remain unpaid for an extended period, after reasonable notice where practical.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Tempora after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
