Choose the departments and the dates. Tempora fills each shift with people who are available, rested and hold the certificates that site requires, and it respects approved days off and shift preferences. You review the result, publish it, and workers see their shifts on their phones.

A drop-out is covered without phone calls
When a worker reports sick in the app, you are notified at once. Post the gap as an open shift: only qualified, available workers are told about it, and the first one to claim it is assigned.

Workers scan the site's QR code when they arrive and when they leave. A check-in made away from the site is flagged for the manager, and those recorded hours are what reach payroll and billing.

Questions
- Do I need a card to start?
- Yes. You add a card when you start the trial, but nothing is charged if you cancel before the 14 days are over.
- How does automatic schedule generation work?
- Pick the departments and dates, and Tempora fills the shifts with suitable employees. It respects availability, approved days off, shift preferences, required certifications and rest rules. You review the result before publishing it.
- Do employees need to install an app?
- No. The employee app runs in the phone's browser and can be added to the home screen. Employees see their shifts, check in and out with a QR code, set their availability, request time off and report sick leave.
- What counts as an active employee?
- Any worker on your roster who hasn't been deactivated. Deactivate someone who has left and they stop counting toward your limit.
- Can I change plans later?
- Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade anytime from the billing settings in your dashboard.
- Is my data safe?
- Yes. Your data is visible only to your agency and is never shared, and a GDPR Data Processing Agreement is available to every customer. Our Security page has the technical details.
- Can we cancel at any time?
- Yes. Plans are monthly with no long-term contract. Cancel in the billing settings and you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
- Can Tempora staff access our account?
- Only if you allow it. An owner or admin can grant time-limited support access, for example for setup help. It ends automatically, you can end it at any time, and everything we do appears in your audit log.
